Songs and rhymes
Original songs and calm animation in English and Hindi, with a new rhyme every week.
Watch the rhymesShushumoon started at home, with a few parents who couldn't find what they wanted for their own children, so they made it. We began with gentle songs. Clothes, shoes and toys are on the way, made the same way: gently, and sensitive to the sensory needs of different children.
A new rhyme every week. More on the way.
We are parents first. We know the bedtime that won't end, the shoes that won't go on and the screen that leaves a little one wired. Shushumoon makes the things we wished we'd had: full of fun, but calm enough never to overwhelm a small mind.
Everything we make starts with a real day at home with small children. If it wouldn't work in our own house, we don't make it.
Some children love noise and colour. Some need things softer, quieter and slower. Shushumoon is sensitive to the sensory needs of different children: soft colours, an easy pace, nothing that flashes or shouts.
Counting butterflies, naming colours, trying big new words. The learning is tucked into the fun, never the other way round.
The rhymes are here today. The rest is in the works, and it will be made the same way.

Rain has come to the park, and Veer, Diya, Teju and Rajji the puppy jump in every puddle they can find.
After the rains, the children visit the butterfly garden and count the butterflies over the flowerbed: one, two, three, four, five.
Stomp and roar along with the dinosaurs, and pick up some big new words on the way.
An hour of calming sleep music that slowly settles, for the end of the day. Start it from the beginning and let it run.
Three friends and one puppy, in every rhyme.

In his marigold kurta, Veer loves splashing in puddles.

Two braids with orange ribbons, and always ready to lend a helping hand.

Our drummer, dhum-dhama-dhum, and the best paper-boat maker in the park.

Rajji the puppy: a patch over one eye, a white tip on his tail, and everybody's best friend.
ताली, धमक, गाना!
The same gentle rhymes, sung in Hindi. Find them on our sister channel, Shushumoon Hindi.
